Product Description

Similar to the Breville Smart Oven, but in a smaller, more compact design, this 1800-watt oven offers exceptional cooking convenience while taking up less space on the counter. The unit's 3/5-cubic-foot nonstick interior can accommodate a 12-inch pizza or four slices of bread at a time, while its push-button and turn-knob control panel makes it easy to program. Turn the control dial to select the function options include Toast, Bagel, Bake, Roast, Broil, Pizza, Cookies, and Reheat. The oven's Element IQ "smart" sensor technology puts the power where it's needed most to ensure energy-efficient operation. For each of the eight pre-set functions, Element IQ automatically adjusts the power and calculates the cooking time. The time and temperature for the pre-set programs can also be manually adjusted to accommodate individual preferences--the oven will even remember the new settings for next time. Use the second control dial for setting the time (from one minute up to two hours) and for adjusting the temperature (from 120 to 450 degrees F), as well as for selecting the number of slices and for setting the toast shade, from light to dark. The control panel also offers a large start/cancel button, a defrost button for frozen foods, and a temperature-conversion button for recipes with cooking temperatures in Celsius. The oven's easy-to-read backlit LCD screen shows the current function, temperature, and adjustments made--plus it illuminates orange to indicate preheating and cooking, then blue to indicate the end of the cooking cycle. Other highlights include a tempered-glass door, three rack positions, and a front-access removable crumb tray for quick cleanup. Accessories include a 10-by-10-inch enamel baking pan and a 10-by-10-inch enamel broil rack. Attractively housed in coated steel with a strikingly modern design, the countertop oven measures 16-1/2 by 14-1/4 by 10-inch and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Customer Reviews

By Cathy K: Makes the best toast! Easy to use and clean. Love my new toaster oven. Happy that I bought this item.
By DN (Worcester, MA USA): his is a great toaster oven. Browns toast really uniformly. Controls are easy to use after a quick read of the manual. The only drawback - when you open the door, it doesn't pull the rack out with it. So you have to poke around (in a hot toaster) to get at your food.
y mjva (DC Metro) : I've had this toaster oven for six months. Its a great design and the control logic is simple and very intuitive. Its sleek and elegant and worth every penny for its functionality. It works consistently each and every time. There are no cheap parts. I would buy again and highly recommend. Excellent product.
By Mr. Bozack (Austin, TX) : This is, quite simply, the best toaster oven I've ever owned. My wife and both love it. It works great, looks great, and feels solid. Yes, it's a lot more expensive than a traditional Black & Decker style toaster over, but it's worth it in my opinion. I've owned it for a few months now and we are still talking about how much better it is than any other toaster over we've owned. Just look at the reviews vs. other models. It's a good size unit with a large capacity, toasts evenly, and has digital setting for the number of slices and the level of darkness. We haven't used it for broiling or baking yet, but based on how it toasts I'm expecting it work perfectly. Bottom line: if you can afford it, this is the best toaster oven you can buy.
By psychomomma (Ridgecrest, California USA) : I love how easy it is to adjust the darkness of anything I toast. I can adjust my what I'm toasting and how many slices as well as how dark I want it. A perfectly toasted piece of bread is just a turn of the dial away.
